THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
Deep Tissue massage is a series of therapeutic massage techniques that may be used to treat an injury, scar tissue, adhesions, or other issues within the varying layers of muscle tissue. Deep Tissue may not always be done using deep pressure.
RELAXATION MASSAGE
On the other hand, relaxation massages may be used with deep pressure and may not have a particular treatment goal beyond relaxing the muscles or the individual. This treatment can be adjusted to suit your needs.
CUPPING TREATMENTS
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
ASHIATSU
Ashiatsu is a massage technique that involves the application of the practitioner’s feet, rather than the hands or arms, to a patient’s body. In Japanese, ashi means foot, and atsu means pressure; so it literally translates to foot pressure.
During an Ashiatsu massage, therapists use their bare feet to deliver deep compression, long gliding strokes, and/or assisted stretching. Reading that, you might feel apprehensive about receiving an Ashiatsu treatment. You may wonder if having your back walked on will be intense, painful, or even scary. Don’t worry, though! Ashiatsu therapists have full control over how your body is treated, and the massage is tailored to your needs just as a deep tissue or Swedish relaxation massage would be.
MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a technique that involves the use of gentle, and rhythmic strokes aimed at restoring the lymphatic system's optimal function. The gentle pressure of manual lymphatic drainage is great for post operation recovery, helps with inflammation, and can reduce stress and anxiety.
*Lymphatic Drainage can not be performed on clients suffering from: acute inflammation due to bacterial or viral infections, malignant tumors, thrombosis, post lymphadenectomy, asthmatics, or major heart or organ problems. If you have any questions on whether you are a good candidate for MLD please call our office during business hours 780.380.0022

REFLEXOLOGY
JAW AND TMJD TREATMENT
Do you suffer from jaw pain, TMJD, or chronic headaches? Does your jaw click or lock?
If you said yes to any of these this treatment is for you!
Start with a 60min treatment for an assessment and treatment of the jaw, where all of the impacted muscles will be addressed. The treatment you receive will be designed specific to your jaw dysfunction.
Once you have had your first 60min treatment with assessment your practitioner may suggest 30min follow up appointments, with heightened focus on your affected areas. Some treatments may require intra-oral (inside of mouth) techniques, this will be clearly communicated and used upon consent of the client before use.
*PLEASE NOTE* the successful treatment of TMJD and related disorders may take several consecutive treatments.
THERAPAUTIC MASSAGE WITH BLADING/ IASTM
FIRE CUPPING
Fire cupping is a traditional modality commonly incorporated into massage therapy to support soft tissue release, circulation, and relaxation. Glass cups are applied using a heat-driven vacuum that gently lifts the skin and underlying tissues, helping to reduce muscular tension and improve blood flow.
The wider, smoother rim of glass fire cups allows suction to be evenly dispersed, often feeling less intense than mechanical suction while still allowing for deeper, more comfortable tissue work. Many clients describe the sensation as soothing and deeply relaxing rather than painful. The cups themselves are not hot—only the air inside them is briefly warmed to create suction.
Fire cupping is well suited for stress-related tension, mild to moderate muscle tightness, and restricted tissue mobility. When performed by a trained professional, it is generally safe, with possible side effects limited to temporary skin discoloration or mild soreness.
Both fire cupping and suction cupping offer unique benefits, and the best way to choose is to experience each and see which best supports your treatment goals.
