Deep Tissue massage is a series of therapeutic massage techniques that may be used to treat an injury, scar tissue, adhesions, or other issues within the varying layers of muscle tissue.  Deep Tissue may not always be done using deep pressure.

On the other hand, relaxation massages may be used with deep pressure and may not have a particular treatment goal beyond relaxing the muscles or the individual.  This treatment can be adjusted to suit your needs.

RAPID Neurofascial Reset is one of the newest evidence-based treatments for chronic injuries & pain.  This is a fully clothed treatment that requires your active participation in moving with the therapist.  We recommend booking a 15-30 minute treatment for 1 area, or 30-45 minute for 2+ problem areas.  This is a great treatment for Sciatica, TMJ disorders, Bursitis, Frozen Shoulder, Migraines, Shin splints & more

Ashiatsu is a massage technique that involves the application of the practitioner’s feet, rather than the hands or arms, to a patient’s body.  In Japanese, ashi means foot, and atsu means pressure; so it literally translates to foot pressure.

During an Ashiatsu massage, therapists use their bare feet to deliver deep compression, long gliding strokes, and/or assisted stretching.  Reading that, you might feel apprehensive about receiving an Ashiatsu treatment.  You may wonder if having your back walked on will be intense, painful, or even scary.  Don’t worry, though!  Ashiatsu therapists have full control over how your body is treated, and the massage is tailored to your needs just as a deep tissue or Swedish relaxation massage would be.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a technique that involves the use of long, gentle, and rhythmic strokes aimed at restoring the lymphatic system's optimal function.  The gentle pressure of manual lymphatic drainage is great for post operation recovery, helps with lymphedema, and can reduce stress and anxiety.
